Translational Research 101: Understanding CETE's Evidence-Based Interventions

The Center on Education and Training for Employment (CETE) uses translational research to address societal issues with evidence-based interventions that shape policy and advance best practices across education, workforce development, social justice, and health. This project involves creating e-learning courses to educate the public on translational research fundamentals, CETE's methods, and pathways to becoming a translational researcher.

Inclusive Hiring Module: Strategies and Tools for Equity and Excellence

The module will provide actionable tools to enhance fairness and inclusivity in hiring, supporting CETE's commitment to equity.

The Basic Mandarin E-learning Course was created for foreign adults working and living in Hong Kong, focusing on essential phrases for everyday use in Mandarin. This e-learning course enables flexible, on-the-go learning via mobile phone, tablet, or laptop. Interactive materials, developed in Storyline, are also accessible offline for continuous learning anytime, anywhere.

Introduction to Engineering Insurance

Handling Difficult Customers

Through realistic dialogues and situational exercises, learners acquire practical language skills tailored to their immediate needs, easing their transition into life in Hong Kong and fostering a more immersive cultural experience.

Fraction Adventure

Developed for primary students at Jockey Club Primary School in Hong Kong, the module offers engaging, hands-on practice to deepen students' understanding of fraction concepts through visual and interactive elements. By integrating play with learning, the game encourages active participation, enabling students to visualize and manipulate fractions, improving comprehension and retention. This module serves as an accessible tool for both teachers and students to support math learning in an enjoyable, interactive format.
